Here’s a quick case study of a program we’ve run, which demonstrates the incredible potential of the Pitchworthy platform and teaching methodology.
The 5-Month Program:
240 applications (with discussions with global experts and peer-to-peer learning activities during the “open house” application period)
65 selected for a 1-week sprint (with workshops and discussions every day)
20 teams pitching at semi-finals
13 teams join a 4 month intensive accelerator program (with feedback/discussions almost every day, and workshops once per week)
11 teams graduated, and within weeks they started receiving recognition, investment, and downstream support
… and throughout this whole period, we only physically met the teams twice.
The participants were from across Lebanon and two other countries, the main trainer was mostly in Amsterdam, and the teams were getting support from mentors and coaches in 5 other countries: The US, Canada, UK, UAE, and Lebanon.
The program leveraged various communications tools, and the advanced Pitchworthy platform.
The program also had over 50% participation of young women entrepreneurs, many of whom said they were inspired and able to participate because of the flexible and virtual nature of the platform and program.
The Pitchworthy “Entrepreneurial Skills Framework” and data collected via our MDAQ* (Multi-Disciplinary Assessment Quiz) enabled us to provide tailored (and fun) soft-skills development support to individuals, teams, and the cohort …
… with quantifiable improvements within a short period of time.
And through positive support, creative facilitation, and effective use of online communications tools and the Pitchworthy platform, we were able to leverage virtual encounters to help build positive, supportive relationships between people who otherwise never would have connected … from different communities, hours apart, and sometimes in different countries.
We are currently doing outreach for collaborators and partners to improve entrepreneurship education opportunities in the EuroMENA region, and worldwide. If you have any questions or feedback, please contact us.
*Use of the MDAQ and Activities Database right now are limited to programs that are actively run in partnership with the Pitchworthy core team (not yet available for “SaaS only” or “training of trainer” options). We are working to expand availability in the near future.
